When capturing streaming video, I often find that captured video different from stream on screen in one important way.

The captured video has QR code inserted in downloaded version that does not appear when viewing on screen. When viewing, it look fine, but download has QR code slapped on it. This happens on YT a lot. Sometimes even lo-rez have this QR code on it.

Here is example. Looks fine when streaming, but download has QR code in upper left corner.
youtube.com/watch?v=QWVZ3K3wnrU

Is there any way to download video that does this WITHOUT the QR code on it? Or, is there way to remove the QR code from Hi-Rez version after downloading?

I thought Kodi was just for playing video. How would it be used for this purpose?

CITAZIONE (Bernd46 @ 3/5/2017, 19:21)
I made the download by ant(dot)com and no QR code.

Okay, I install ant downloader. It seems to download/save video, but does not ask where to save file. Then message says cannot open file. It is not in Downloads/Ant folder. No preference/option for selecting folder to download. ????

Later -- I had to remove this from my browser. It does not ask where I want to save file, I cannot find the file after it is downloaded to hard drive, it does not give me option of which version of video to download, it asks to install additional software just to play an ordinary video, FAQ says to use Explorer button to locate file, but there is no Explorer button on my toolbar, etc. Maybe it work for you. Not for me.
