The interest of this site is performance/artistic nudity, on stage, in film or in public, including Adam & Eve-type TV shows, Big Brother, film clips, performance art, other intentional displays of public nudity, and similar material, involving women.

There are admittedly a lot of rules, but the Big Five are:

  • Nude people must know that they are being recorded nude, and obviously consenting to that (and, therefore, of age)..

  • There must be nudity and women (CFNM is marginal but still allowed). Nude includes topless, buttal and sidal as well as frontal, and also essentially transparent body sock-type garments, truly diaphanous gowns, and similar..

  • There must be at least a veneer of artistic content (no obviously mere porn).

  • No advertising of commerical material (announcements of your own free relevant sites are fine, as are announcements of anything you're interested in your sig line, eg your website on model trains in the Scottish Highlands, or whatever).

  • Don't appear to be a bot. This means your postings should have pictures that are big enough to show what is going on, and have some sort of statement about what they are. Botty postings (which appear to be attempts to drum up business for certain hosts) will be deleted without comment, and my result in banning of the username (depending on the proclivities of the mod or admin who sees them first).

Shibari is for example can be problematic, because while it can be artistic, a lot of it seems to be just porn, and in addition sadistic (also not wanted). Some of this is a matter of judgement, and moderators have a free hand to do what they consider best.

And there are two more, which are not a hanging offences, but good for new visitors to note.

The first which is to not include directly clickable links, but only ones that need to be copied pasted into a browser. Here is kazzp's explanation for this rule:

QUOTE
People or companies uploading their own videos often check stats to know where viewers come from. And for some reason they freak out when they see views coming from this forum, which often results in password protecting or removing their videos. You can argue we are not that bad, many of us go see their performances in person, we are respectful, support their work and give them free coverage, but unfortunately they see us more like a porn site or something. And many interesting videos have been removed because of the sheer amount of viewers reading this forum and clicking on links.
If you copy/paste the link it looks like you are coming from a bookmark, however if you click on a link or watch embedded video, your browser sends a HTTP referer header, which shows where you come from. Sure you can control your referer with browser addons, but not many people really do this and it's just better to post non-clickable links.

There are various technique for preventing the link to be clickable; selecting it and hitting the CODE button might be the easiest (the forum system tries hard to make everything that looks like a link clickable)

The second point is to avoid making contentless additions to threads. In their enthusiasm, new visitors often append 'thanks' comments to old threads, which is mildly annoying, because people are hoping for new content. Instead, just hit the 'like' button. And especially, don't ask for 'more'; if the poster had more, and felt able to share it, they would have.

Thanks should be reserved for really outstanding, new, contributions, and also for uploaded excerpts from very long pieces, since these require considerable effort to prepare and make available. And especially, if you download it, and like it, then 'like' it!

Also, don't request too many re-uploads at once: if a visitor asks for one upload, people have been doing this for a while are likely to look at their collection and see if they can provide, but if there are six requests, more likely not (not least, since they are hoping that all the new posts mean new content, and are disappointed because they are not).
If you consider the rules to be annoying and restrictive, it's very easy to set up a site of your own on forumfree, and you can advertise it with your signature line here.

Absolutely Forbidden!!
Penalty = immediate ban with no explanation

<li>Leaked celebrity nudes, toilet cams, or any other kind of nudity not meant to be witnessed by an audience (possibly one not yet present, such as with art films and film clips). This is now taken to include naturist type photos (nude beach etc.) that are not clearly true public performances. When in doubt, leave it out ... you will be at the mercy of the least tolerant mod or admin who spots it. We admire those who are tougher than we are.
  • Revenge porn (a mod or admin might recommend complete banning from forumfree.it)

  • Underage material ... if she doesn't look like she's 18+, don't post it (ditto)

  • Pointlessly sadistic violence (but Andromeda on the rocks wondering wtf is Perseus would be fine, as long as he showed up in time; there are also some serious but confronting artistic works that would be OK)

  • Commercial promotions of any kind (informing people of your own free, at least somewhat relevant forum or site is fine), except for notifying where tickets or videos for relevant performance and artistic work can be legitimately purchased (the moderators will be the judge of what is appropriate).

  • Racism, mindless insults and other forms of gratuitously stupid behavior (but good faith criticism of artistic quality, opinions about the desirability or not of ingredients such as mud, paint, spaghetti sauce, etc are fine, especially if their expression is humorous)

Links to sites linking to or containing absolutely forbidden material are also absolutely forbidden (note that much of this kind of material is currently or probably soon will be illegal in most places).

Not Wanted

This kind of material will probably get dislikes, and few if any likes, and persistent posting of it might result in a ban. It predominantly reflects a consensus of the site followers, as perceived by the mods and admins; if the consensus drifts, the rules might change, although some is just prudence or nonobnoxious behavior.

  • Gratuitous attention-getting devices, such as asterisks, capital letters, repeated posting of inane short comments to keep something 'active' (attention-grabbing is reserved for moderators and admins with important messages that people really ought to pay attention to for their own wellbeing, or ordinary users calling the attention of moderators to things that really ought to be removed ASAP).

  • Webcams (moderators will probably remove them, and you will probably lose reputation points; repeating posting of such material will probably result in banning)

  • Links to ordinary porn/fetish sites, unless they also cover our interests (ditto).

  • Non-nude material (see above definition of nude). An exception to this is non-nude portions of full performances that include nudity (many of us like to see the full performances, even if the nudity is actually very brief). But the full performance with the nudity must be provided.

  • All male material (CFNM is borderline)

  • Lightweight merely erotic material (as found in great quantity on Luca Priori's vimeo channel for example ... he's your go-to guy for that these days)

  • Full uploads of films to filehosting sites (links to youtube etc are OK, because they have their own copyright compliance systems)

But links to sites containing unwanted material are fine, as long as they also contain material that this site is concerned with. For example Frango's excellent NOS video page contains a certain amount of all male material (probably reflecting a greater degree of artistic seriousness than we aspire to here), while Frank Moore's Nude Performance video page contains a fair mount of 'mere porn' (as an aspect of a general campaign against anti-eroticism in society).

But our own signature can link to anything you like (traditional Scottish culture, model trains, hiking in the Canadian Rockies ...) as long as it is does not involve Forbidden Material.

Good Manners

  • Posting should normally be of 'news': new material, or re-uploads of material whose old links are dead, or requests for someone to upload material that seems to have disappeared, notifications of upcoming performances etc. Although new members in their enthusiasm sometimes append 'thanks' to many threads, it is better not to do this very much, because they then reappear in the 'active threads' listing, without having genuine new content. Instead, use the 'like' button on things you like; this adds to poster's reputation in a way that accumulates visibly.

  • With new content, provide a picture, some verbal description, or both. Please provide some information about the performance & artist if you can (a name or two to give St. Google someting to work with are enough)

  • Try to put things in the appropriate sections. Note that in the 'Streaming' section, there are threads for vimeo, youtube, and dailymotion; put material from the sources into those threads.

  • Especially for older material, try use the search function to check that it hasn't already been posted, with still-working links
(but search is often a bit dodgy, so failures are tolerated, but do try).

  • For things that are very long, say where the nudity is to be found (especally F).

  • Some members don't like male nudity, so warnings are appreciated, especially if there is a lot of it.

  • Reserve the 'dislike' button for things that you consider to be genuinely bad, not merely not in accordance with your preferences.

Disclaimer: The Moderators/Administrators of this forum take no responsibility or liability for anything that happens as a result of reading or downloading anything from this forum. Nor of linking or uploading (the moderators and admins do sometimes get and act upon requests to remove things, but accept no responsibility for and have no control over what appears).

I've revised the rules a bit to reflect the decision to disallow 'nude at the beach'-type threads.

Would it be ok to open just one discussion thread (not for posting material) about sources for and producers of less than artistic naked on stage content?

I love the artsy stuff and this board is definitely the best place for it and I simply don't know of any other place/community/people that might also be interested in discussing or sharing resources on where to look for the less artistic naked on stage stuff(bikini/wett/dance contests and the like).

Perhaps the reddit thread fulfills that?

www.reddit.com/r/NakedOnStage/

We also have a free-speech Discussion section:

https://nakedonstage.forumfree.it/?f=64561376

There used to be more 'less than artistic' material here (The Lost King's vision included it), but interest seems to have drifted away from that. It's also very easy to set up your own board on forumfree; I did it once to do some experimentation with admin functions. Of course getting a decent design and attracting sensible posters is another matter. I think a potential problem with less-than-artistic material is that it tends to attract morons and idiots to a greater extent, so the amount of police work needed is greatly increased. But sources and discussion only might help with that problem.

But the question needs a consenus answer, not a declaration from a Dictator (however benign)

Malware Warning:

Note: Userscloud is currently experiencing issues (malware on site); they are fighting it but don't open the site and click on any link until the issues are fixed - instead: paste the link directly into a download manager or avoid.

Temporary warnings have been added to relevant posts; these will be removed once the issue is fixed.

Thotlaeiadefes has edited his posts and removed the links; thank you Thotlaeiadefes.

After some tests - the files are still there on Userscloud and jdownloader2 for example can access them without grabbing the malware, so accessing Userscloud via jdownloader2 appears safe (from my tests).

Gofile is definitely fine, fast & popup free, recommended indeed.

But keep in mind no for-pay material

.
Please note the latest rules regarding posting content on NOS.

You can only link to videos on the Web. For example at Vimeo,. YouTube, DailyMotion.

Do not link to porn sites.

Do not upload files to file sharing/hosting sites and then link to them here at NOS. That includes GoFile.

No clickable direct links are permitted. Easiest way to do this is to just leave off the https:// part of the URL.

For more specifics regarding rules here at NOS, read the NOS Rules thread.
