Really very interesting. Are there more of these kinds of vintage videos featuring complete nudity? I was never aware of this.

I made Google translate, trying to figure out the significance of the flies. Is there a message here? But the article offers no explanation. Also, Google translate struggles with Finnish. It kept referring to Beate Linnen as "he" and "him".

I use WinFF which provides a simple GUI front end for ffmpeg, but only for converting video from one format to another. It is convenient for that.

What I wish to discover is GIMP for video editing.

I wish to trim and resize video.

For example, some video are shot from a distance and I wish to crop around outside, then resize the cropped video to make it bigger.

Another example, I have some video that have large black border around them. When played, these video are small, centered on screen, surrounded by black. I want to crop away the black border, resize the video to make it full screen.

Is there free or inexpensive software that can do this? Software that does not automatically stick on branding or limit resolution or other unhappy results?

I do not know anything about video editing, but use Photoshop, so complexity is not frightening.

IDM did not impress me. I am now using Jdownloader 2 beta. But I can not get it to work with Dailymotion or Pornhub. So I still must use the DownloadHelper plug in. But the free version of that inserts Qcode in HD downloads. When will we have "one downloader ti rule them all"?

Any tips on getting Jdownloader to work with Dailymotion and Pornhub? And how to download video on sites that seem to provide not downloadable link?

And question for Jdownloader expert. How to download only the highest rez video instead of all available versions? Default is to download all.

I tried out Internet Download Manager for more than a month. It worked okay with YT and Vimeo most of the time. However, it was complete disaster when using download sites. If you do not have premium subscription to a download site, IDM will intrude and cause download failures. Not recommended.

Now I will try JDownloader2.

I made the download by ant(dot)com and no QR code.

Okay, I install ant downloader. It seems to download/save video, but does not ask where to save file. Then message says cannot open file. It is not in Downloads/Ant folder. No preference/option for selecting folder to download. ????

Later -- I had to remove this from my browser. It does not ask where I want to save file, I cannot find the file after it is downloaded to hard drive, it does not give me option of which version of video to download, it asks to install additional software just to play an ordinary video, FAQ says to use Explorer button to locate file, but there is no Explorer button on my toolbar, etc. Maybe it work for you. Not for me.

I thought Kodi was just for playing video. How would it be used for this purpose?

When capturing streaming video, I often find that captured video different from stream on screen in one important way.

The captured video has QR code inserted in downloaded version that does not appear when viewing on screen. When viewing, it look fine, but download has QR code slapped on it. This happens on YT a lot. Sometimes even lo-rez have this QR code on it.

Here is example. Looks fine when streaming, but download has QR code in upper left corner.

Is there any way to download video that does this WITHOUT the QR code on it? Or, is there way to remove the QR code from Hi-Rez version after downloading?
