I would try tubedigger (lifetime paid), but I've never rented a vimeo, so don't know if it would work. I've found a way to get most things with it, but not absolutely everything
Solutions always exist: online videos downloaders, browser addons, downloaders (jdownloader, etc.), the ultimate is a screen recorder (but only if all options failed).
