Some pics are stills from the video and others are still photos taken from both 2003 and 2007 productions. Hence the inconsistency ( variations in set, audience, absence/presence, of pubic hair, etc).
The concept of this scene, the Dityrambo (rebirth) of free love - one of the climaxes of Homem 2, is to get people to dispose of their civilized inhibitions. The aim is to have audience members remove their clothing and join the cast in an orgy of dancing and singing and whatever else takes their fancy. This is symbolic of the rebellion against the morality of the Patriachal society of the Northeast which punished free love with death.
Zé Celso- At the ceremony of Beija Santos, the actors and the audience undress "of the old moral, long robes sewn in the hinterlands, patriarchal and fall with Eve into the Hell of the Apocalipse of the last days of man".
Here we see Eve, the actress Anna Guilhermina, emerging naked from a ribbon cocoon as both Aphrodite(complete with only a veil) and Eve (complete with apple). She is paraded by Dionysis before the audience and then ascends to a platform overlooking the audience from whence she then offers a bite of her apple (symbolizing sexual availability) to the men in the audience. She selects a male member of the audience for potential coupling, enticing him again with her “apple”. The selected guy is then stripped naked and invited up to join with her as she climbs the trees from where she continues her genital display and encouraging more members of the audience to strip naked and join her. Both male and female audience then strip, some climbing to join her and others occupying other platform levels.
Once a substantial number of the audience are naked she descends to a lower level platform, pausing to demonstrate her readiness for coupling by inserting her fingers in her vagina and then displaying them glistening with her vaginal lubrication to the audience. She continues to encourage audience to cast off their inhibitions and join her ”in a celebration of carnaval and orgia” to quote Ze Celso the Director.
She then descends by slipping down a bamboo pole to the floor where other audience members and cast members join her in dancing around on the floor of the theatre.
On the floor another actress (Patricia Aiguille) is seen writhing around on the floor holding her genitals open and then the naked dancers pile on top of her, fondling her and they hold her labia open for another camera extreme closeup. She then joins the dancers in singing and circulating along with Eve amongst the cast and audience.
This brief film clip stops there. As to how far the celebration of free love amongst cast and audience progresses during the ceremony of Beija Santos will have to remain a mystery as I do not yet have either the play script or the full DVD.
